Swimming and Water Safety

Otter Class enjoyed their first practical swimming lesson of the academic year in our very own school pool as well as spending time working towards earning their very own water safety passport (courtesy of the RNLI's water safety resources) to enable them to have fun and stay safe around water. Not only do we recognise the importance of learning to swim, we are also committed to ensuring our children understand the RNLI's  key messages of - Stop and Think, Stay Together, Float and Call 999 (111).
