Table Tennis Club
School sport at Coton got off to a flying start bright and early on the first Monday morning of autumn term 2. An 0800 start for table tennis clubbers! They cracked out the new equipment and began following the Table Tennis England drills to help them improve their accuracy and control over the ball. They learned the handshake grip and how to close and open their bats to control where the ball goes. Some children managed to direct the ball into the cones!
Great work from our Table Tennis players this morning! The 'closed' backhand drive is coming along nicely!
Huge thanks to Julia, our parent volunteer, for stepping in to share her expertise and lead the session this week.
