Year 3 / 4 Invasion Games Festival
What a morning!
On Wednesday 26th April, all our year 3 and 4 children took part in an invasion games festival at Comberton Village College.
Hedgehog Class were split into four mixed year group teams, taking part in a variety of games over the course of the morning . We saw some fabulous footballing skills, newly learned netball rules, talented touch rugby players and hard-hitting hockey shots. We even took our skipping ropes to maintain our 'Skipping Week' frenzy!
We would like to thank Rebecca Kingston, from Comberton's PE Department, for leading a fantastically organised morning supported by her year 10 Sports Leaders and giving our children the opportunity to try out a variety of invasion games.
A big shout out must also go to the parents that gave up their morning to support us at the event.
Having surveyed the children at the end of the morning, football remained the firm favourite overall in Hedgehog Class!
