Hockey Taster
We welcomed Temoc, Arthur and a third m ember of the Nomads Hockey Club coaching team to spend an afternoon with our year 3 and 4 pupils.
The children all got the opportunity to try out hockey - for some it was the first time they had held a wooden hockey stick - learning some fundamental skills before putting them into game play.
We were incredibly proud that all children had a go and tried their best despite some being a little nervous and others (who were left-handed) accepting the challenge of having to play with the International Hockey Federation's regulation right-handed sticks!
