School Opening Times

The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.30pm for all children. Lunchtimes run from 12.10pm to 1.10pm for Reception and Key Stage 1 and from 12.20pm to 1.10pm for Key Stage 2 children .

All children will have a 15 minute break in the morning and Foundation and KS1 children will have an additional 10 minute break in the afternoon.

The doors open at 8.50am and are locked again at 9.00am. They then re-open at 3.30pm. Senior leaders are available from 8.50 am; for safety reasons children must not be left unsupervised on the school premises before this time. 

As the school session begins at 8.50am, it is important that all children are in their classrooms ready for registration at this time.

The total time this amounts to in a typical week is 32.5 hours.
