Friendship Run Week

This year's fully inclusive Friendship Run Week organised by the South Cambs School Sports Partnership took place during the week of the 17th October - a great way to end the first half term of the academic calendar. Over the course of the week, each class took part in a 'Friendship Torch Run' either on the playground or, for our older children, also incorporating the school field. Running challenges were set for individuals and class groups. We had hoped to involve the wider school community on the final day of the week but unfortunately incredibly wet weather got the better of us (and the school field) and it was deemed unsafe to go ahead. There's always next year folks and let's be honest if Mrs Osborne gets her own way there may well be another opportunity later in the year! 
We also invited families to get involved at home and were delighted to receive photographs from children and parents engaged in running, cycling, walking and scooting activities during the course of the week.
