Tennis Skills Festival
On Thursday afternoon, a team from Hedgehog Class made their way to Cambourne Tennis Club to participate in the South Cambs School Sports Partnership’s Tennis Festival. In an attempt to inspire a love of tennis and introduce new players to the game, this event provided the opportunity for the children to take part in a range of different fundamental based skills challenges with a focus on fun and personal development. As part of a team, the children rotated around different activities, scoring as many points as they could for their team. We were thrilled to receive a ‘Spirit of the Games Nomination’ from the Sports Leaders which stated, “Everyone on the Coton team was very enthusiastic throughout the afternoon and were full of positive energy! All of the children were very supporting and encouraging of each other, showing excellent cooperation and teamwork!” Yippee! Go Team Coton!
