What an exciting journey Otter class have just completed in the 'Dance: Explorers' unit! This term, the children fully embraced the world of movement, creativity, and teamwork, bringing vibrant characters to life through dynamic and expressive dance. Whether they were exploring wild jungles or being wild animals on the prowl, the children created and developed their unique characters, choreographed their own motifs, and told their adventure story through movement, emotion, and expression.

Otters practiced responding to music with big, clear movements that matched the rhythm, developing their control and creativity. Pupils also had the opportunity to work with a partner to extend their dance sequence, building relationships between their characters. The children also practiced both giving and receiving feedback, all while supporting each other's creative efforts. This unit was truly an adventure in every way! Otters gained confidence, expanded their creative skills, and had lots of fun along the way!
