It was a beautiful evening for a jog in the park! 

A first for Coton as we entered a team into this year's Cambridgeshire Cross Country Championship held in Priory Park. 

A team of our four finest Year 6 runners each ran a distance of 1.2km whilst also navigating a baton change...all very exciting!

Each of the runners gave their all and finished a very respectable 5th out of around 50 teams. What an end to the event when Coton were announced as having taken the top spot in the small schools event and were invited to receive their winners' trophy. 

Proud is an understatement. 

Thank you, again, to the parents (and grandparents!) that gave up their evening to help with transport and encouragement.
