Year 6 House Captains - October 2022

The autumn term is always one of excitement for many reasons, however, the return of the annual House Captain elections is one that creates an endearing buzz around the entire school! During the week of Monday 3rd October, a significant number of brave Year 6 children put themselves forward to become the next House Captain for their team: Dynamic Dragons, Phenominal Phoenixes and Gallant Griffins. After preparing detailed speeches (see some examples below) to outline why they would be well-suited for the role and what they would do help improve the school, the hopeful candidates presented their speeches to the entire school, demonstrating an admirable sense of courage.

With hand-made posters, banners and placards displayed around the school grounds, the promising applicants spent the week respectfully campaigning during their break and lunchtimes in order to secure as many votes as possible from their peers. We would like to congratulate all of the children who bravely applied for the positions and, after a democratic vote in each class, we are pleased to announce our House Captains for 2022/2023:
