Autumn 1

In Kestrel Class, weekly homework tasks are issued on a Friday and consist of Reading, Writing/SPaG, Spellings and Maths, and are due back by the Wednesday of the following week. In addition, at the beginning of the term, the children are issued with a Home Learning Grid consisting of nine activities which they can choose from each week. Please see the 'Spelling Menu' for creative ways to practise your spellings. 

If the children complete one activity from the Home Learning Grid and their weekly homework tasks, they have the opportunity to earn some raffle tickets...

Homework that is returned to school on a Monday earns *** 3 raffle tickets ***

Homework that is returned to school on a Tuesday earns ** 2 raffle tickets **

Homework that is returned to school on a Wednesday earns * 1 raffle tickets *

On the final Friday of the half term, winners will be drawn and they will have the opportunity to select a prize from the Treat Box!
