Coton has an active School Council, comprising two children from each class (elected by their classmates), which provides an excellent opportunity for children to say what they think about how the school is run, as well as putting across ideas of their own to improve the School. School Council members represent the views of their classmates at council meetings, and report back about what has been discussed to their own classes.
At the moment we are involved with choosing a new head teacher for the school. School council also decided that a silence bell would help us clean the tables and finish our lunch quicker.
